Searching for square footage to open their coffee stores seems like a daunting task in futility sometimes. But with the help and assistance, not to mention diligence, of Cuppy's Coffee real estate specialist, that road is easier to travel.

Realtors, brokers and developers are constantly looking for those tenants that bring a certain atmosphere to their centers and shopping malls. Many are starting to realize that Cuppy's Coffee franchisees meet that criteria. This outlook and attitude is opening a lot of doors for perspective Cuppy's franchise in assisting them in finding that suitable location. That fit between developers and Cuppy's franchisees is one factor to why Cuppy's Coffee real estate department tied its record of 12 signed leases in a single month. That averages out to 3 signed leases a week.

"Our commitment to our franchisees and the overall goal of getting them open in A or A+ locations is what drives our real estate department to aggressively find, analyze and eventually approve locations that we feel are a perfect fit for both our franchisees and the Cuppy's Coffee brand." Trinetti McDonald, Director of Real Estate states.

To put this in perspective Cuppy's Coffee has seen a 67% increase in signed leases versus the same quarter figures in 2007. In the same quarter last year, Cuppy's signed a total of 15 leases. The 2008 1st quarter data reveals 25 signed leases.

"Our goal is to sign a lease every day of the week. If we meet that goal, we will be on track to bringing the Cuppy's Coffee brand into the national radar." McDonald states.
